DELHI : HOTELS

A city of Mughal history, Delhi was first a capital in the 12th century, under the rule of Sultan Qutab-ub-Din. We will first delve into the colorful neighborhoods, such as Chandni Chowk, which nestle around the great mosque.

The complex that rises around the marvelous Qutab Minar, “the axis of the world”, bears witness to the rapid synthesis achieved between Muslim and Indian art: the Ala-i-Darwaza gate is the most brilliant witness. We will also discover the tomb of Humayun, the second of the great Mughals, we will walk on the Raj Gath, on the banks of the Yamuna and visit the charming little mosque of Zinat-ul-Masjid.

The new city, the National Museum with its immense wealth will allow us to systematize the great phases of the historical and artistic evolution of India. We will visit the geometric center of New Delhi.
