Day 02: DELHI
Visit Delhi, capital of the largest democracy in the world, a charming city with its large tree-lined avenues and narrow streets. Discover the city’s main monuments: Qutab Minar, the Great Mosque, Humayun’s Tomb, etc.
Day 03: DELHI / AGRA (4 hours)
Early in the morning, drive to Agra. Upon arrival, visit the Red Fort built by Akbar. In the afternoon, discover the Taj Mahal, a splendid white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize the woman he loved.
Night at the hotel.
Day 04: AGRA / FATEHPUR SIKRI / JAIPUR (6 hours)
Departure for Jaipur. En route, visit the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri.
Arrival in Jaipur which the French author Pierre Loti described as “an immense dazzle of colors”. It is one of the most lively cities in India.
Overnight at the hotel for 2 nights.
Day 05: JAIPUR
In the morning, visit the Amber Fort, ancestral home of the Maharajahs of Jaipur, a superb citadel at the top of a hill that you climb on the back of an elephant. Then, discover the pink city, pleasant and warm, invaded from morning to night by thousands of rickshaws. Visit City Palace, the Observatory and Hawa Mahal.
Day 06: JAIPUR / PUSHKAR (3 hours)
Departure by road to the charming village of Pushkar on the edge of a small lake surrounded by white houses. This locality is famous for its annual camel fair.
Night at the hotel.
Day 07: PUSHKAR / KHIMSAR (5 hours)
Drive to Khimsar Fort. Sunset drive in the dunes.
Overnight stay at the boutique Khimsar Fort Hotel.
Day 08: KHIMSAR / JAISALMER (6 hours)
Departure by road for Jaisalmer, a caravan city in the middle of the desert. This superb citadel, built in the dunes overlooking the desert, has preserved all its originality over time.
Night at the hotel for 2 nights.
Day 09: JAISALMER
Morning dedicated to exploring the bustling fort and its surroundings, as well as the magnificent Haveli built by wealthy merchants of the city in the late 18th century.
In the late afternoon, we will go to the cenotaphs of the rulers of Jaisalmer, outside the city, from where we will witness the magnificent sunset over the fort.
Day 10: JAISALMER / JODHPUR (6 hours)
Departure by road for Jodhpur on the edge of the great Thar desert.
In the afternoon, visit the Mehrangarh Fort dominating the blue city from its 120 meters. This “Fort of Majesty” is one of the largest and most beautiful in Rajasthan.
Night at the hotel.
Day 11: JODHPUR / RANAKPUR / SARDARGARH (6 hours)
Drive to Sardargarh Fort (300 years old fort). On the way, visit Ranakpur Temple. Arrive and check in at the grand Sardargarh Fort.
Day 12: SARDARGARH / UDAIPUR (2 hours)
Drive to Udaipur, the “city of dawn” which is perhaps the most romantic city in Rajasthan.
Overnight at the hotel for 2 nights.
Day 13: UDAIPUR
In the morning, this dazzling white city will seduce you with its brightness and romanticism. Visit the Maharana Palace and the museum. Boat trip on Lake Pichola.
Day 14: FLIGHT UDAIPUR / DELHI
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Delhi. On arrival, room for a few hours. In the evening, transfer to the airport for the international flight.
