Day 02: DELHI TOUR
Visit the capital of the world’s largest democracy. Delhi is a beautiful city with its wide tree-lined avenues and narrow alleys.

Morning: visit the Grand Mosque and stroll through the Old Bazaar aboard a Rickshaw.

Afternoon: Visit Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple), Qutab Minar and Crafts Museum. In the city center we will see the buildings built by the British during the Raj period.

Day 03: DELHI / AGRA (5 hours)
Departure for Agra. This city located on the banks of the Yamuna was chosen by the Great Mughals to become the capital of their empire.

Day 04: VISIT OF AGRA
Discovery of the Taj Mahal, splendid white marble mausoleum built by the emperor Shah Jahan in the middle of the 17th century to immortalize the woman he loved. Visit of the Fort built by Akbar where we become aware of what was the power of the empire that dominated India for three centuries.

In the afternoon, discovery of the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri which was the capital of the Mughal empire for fifteen years, under the reign of Akbar.

Made of finely chiseled red sandstone, the palaces and mosques stand out in the countryside bathed in silence.

Day 05: AGRA / JAIPUR (6 hours)
Drive to Jaipur, one of the most vibrant cities in India, which French author Pierre Loti called “an immense dazzle of colours”. It was founded by Maharajah Jai Singh in the 18th century.

Day 06: JAIPUR
In the morning, visit the Amber Fort, ancestral home of the Maharajahs of Jaipur, a superb citadel at the top of a hill that you climb on the back of an elephant. Then you will discover the pink city, pleasant and warm, traveled all day long by thousands of Rickshaws. The visits include the City Palace, the Observatory and Hawa Mahal.

Day 07: JAIPUR / SAMODE PALACE (1 hour)
Drive to the small village of Samode. Nestled in the hills, Samode Palace is a charming hotel full of tranquility and luxury. All the rooms are different and are an evocation of the past. Inside, you will notice the hand-painted Darbar Hall and the Sheesh Mahal.

Day 08: SAMODE / DELHI (5 hours)
Free morning before departure by road for Delhi. On arrival, room for a few hours.
In the evening, transfer to the airport for the flight to Europe.
